This King Mortone has an immaculate body and the decal/logos are in amazing condition.
It's actually hard to believe the edges can be as intact as they are on a 1961 upright bass!
The neck was broken when being moved to the people's house that inherited it from their Dad.
We glued and bolted the neck here at FMI. If it does break again, the bolt will keep
the neck from flying off and it will still be playable!
Has a H-U-G-E sound !! One of the loudest uprights I've ever heard.
