Authentic 1950’s Style Stringed Bass
Product Description
RB-1 Custom Rockabilly Bass Fiddle.
Traditional 1950's Rockabilly style.
We got more bass inventory in that we can custom paint and provide these gorgeous custom basses at this price level again.
Here is Elvis with his bass player, Bill Black, the father of Rockabilly Bass. Our RB-1 has the traditional white trim invented by "Blackie", including "F" holes. Originally, Bill put tape on the edges for protection when he laid it down...later he had the edges painted white.

Free "Basic" Rockabilly Setups come with this bass. These set-ups lower the action to a high but playable slap-bass action but still may be too high and hard for some Slapper's taste. "Basic" set-ups don't include fingerboard work which is needed for lower action. $195 Pro Setups will get you a PRO Playing bass, easy fast action! (Pro setups fix the action so you can even play jazz with steel strings on this bass if desired).

**IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTES:
Free Shipping to “Qualified* Commercial Address” requires the address to be located within 30 minutes, or so, of a major city, on major U.S. shipping arteries and not more than 300 miles from our shop in Pasadena, CA.
A Qualified* Commercial Address is defined as a business address in an area that is incorporated or “Zoned” commercial and where a large truck has “easy access” to a shipping & receiving dock.
**When choosing the “Commercial Address” option below be sure to find out if they have a loading dock, and include the name of the Business in the shipping address in the checkout process.
Shipping rates can vary greatly depending on where you live. More remote commercial shipping addresses on the East Coast, New England, New York, New Jersey as well as Florida or the upper Midwestern States such as North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio, for example, require additional shipping charges usually running between $85 and $195, depending on where you are. These types of shipping destinations are more expensive to ship to from us here in California and some have gone to $270 more for delivery into remote or crowded expensive delivery areas like in the Northeast.
The customer will need to make up the difference between the “Free” shipping allowance ($80) and the actual shipping costs. In any case, FMI will contact you if there is additional shipping due.
Shipping to a residential address is $65 more to any State as it takes special handling by the freight line.
